Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison – Women’s Health (US)

Responsibilities:
- Draft, execute, monitor & adapt independent US MSL Stakeholder Engagement Plans for target KOLs/HCPs.
- Receive support/direction for asset-/disease-state MSL activities (business travel, HCP interactions, congress attendance).
- Provide monthly written summaries of activities/achievements.
- Submit expense reports and PTO requests; document HCP interactions in VEEVA.
- Provide reactive medical communications to Unsolicited Medical Requests (UMRs).
- Identify and communicate competitor Medical Affairs activities with target KOLs/HCPs.
- Identify unmet medical education needs; share difficult concepts and negotiate to adopt a different point of view.
- Partner to develop independent, nonpromotional, proactive/reactive medical education materials (e.g., slide decks, videos) addressing unmet needs.
- Gather/communicate KOL insights to inform independent US Medical and broader strategy.
- Develop/adapt Ad Board, Congress & Customer Insight Reports.
- Staff independent Medical Affairs booths at congresses/conventions.
- Provide approved training to internal functions on products/disease states; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Required/Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years pharma/biotech/clinical experience; MD/PhD/PharmD required; OB/GYN experience required (or combination considered).
- Knowledge of US MSL roles, clinical trials, therapeutic areas, SOPs, HCP interaction standards, federal/state promotional laws, PhRMA, ACCME, and Code of Conduct.
- Ability to communicate and build collaborative relationships with KOLs/medical professionals, academia, and patient advocacy groups; strong analytic/organizational skills with clinical data.
- Ability to listen for stakeholder insights and infer implications for Viatris.
- High performance/accountability; goal-oriented; comfortable with change; DEI-minded.
- Prefer residence within/near designated territory.
- US Remote; extensive travel 50–80% (may change), including possible overnight/weekend travel; territory may change.
- English proficiency required.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $95,000–$193,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, location).
