Position Summary
Associate Director, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Rheumatology (field-based). Reports to the Executive National Director, US MSLs.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships and dialogue with key opinion leaders and allied healthcare professionals (international/national/regional/local).
- Educate healthcare professionals on the company’s product portfolio.
- Serve as a regional medical/scientific resource and align external stakeholder needs with available company resources.
- Deliver educational resources and clinical information in response to established requests.
- Liaise with investigators to support clinical research (investigator-initiated and company-sponsored).
- Facilitate speaker development and training.
- Conduct timely, fair-balanced scientific exchanges with HCPs in a compliant, ethical manner for unsolicited product-related information requests.
- Lead, contribute to, attend, and provide scientific support at medical conferences (international/national/regional/local).
- Liaise with Clinical Operations to support company-sponsored studies.
- Participate in advisory boards and clinical investigator meetings.
- Gather field data to generate insights/competitive intelligence and provide feedback to headquarters.
- Deliver internal training (disease state, therapeutic landscape, product information).
- Build cross-functional working relationships while adhering to compliance guidelines.
- Engage in continued independent learning in the therapeutic area.
- Identify and coordinate execution of scientific communication opportunities at national/local congresses.
- Work with the team to identify opportunities to generate/present meaningful data.
- Provide coverage for scientific sessions (poster/symposium) when requested.
- Attend face-to-face meetings to obtain expert feedback.

Qualifications
- Advanced clinical/science degree or healthcare professional credentials required: MD, PhD, RPh, PharmD, NP, PA, MS, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3+ years in MSL, field-based, or clinical roles (preferred).
- Therapeutic area experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, and OIG guidelines (preferred).
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and manage/resolve conflict.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentation).
- Results-oriented; team oriented.
- Proven track record of success.
- Current, full understanding of relevant industry, legal, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
- Commitment to the highest ethical, legal, regulatory, and scientific standards.

Benefits / Compensation (if applicable)
- Base salary range: $181,600 to $227,000. Total rewards may include annual performance bonus, equity, full range of benefits, and other incentive compensation plans.
