Purpose
- Serve as a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with deep therapeutic-area expertise; facilitate scientific exchange with Scientific/Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs) and communicate strategic insights to inform research and commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Engage in continuous learning to provide unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical/scientific information.
- Spend majority of time on customer-facing activities; act as primary interface between Lilly medical and SEs/CEs.
- Connect SEs/CEs with appropriate Lilly resources/internal partners; facilitate collaborative research and external opportunities.
- Own and execute a compliant territory plan using strategic analysis, prioritization, and territory analytics.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal and cross-functional teams; use good judgment and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Demonstrate Team Lilly behaviors (Include, Innovate, Accelerate, Deliver) and execute in a compliant manner.
Basic Requirements
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) with 2โ3 years relevant experience; OR Masterโs/bachelorโs degree (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) with 5+ years clinical/research/industry experience.
- Full-time U.S. work authorization required; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
- Valid U.S. driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
Additional Preferences
- Cardiometabolic experience strongly preferred.
- Travel up to 80%; work 4โ6 weekends/year; live near a transport hub.

Compensation/Benefits (summary)
- Anticipated wage: $151,500โ$244,200; eligible for company bonus; comprehensive benefits including 401(k), pension, time off, medical/dental/vision, life/death benefits, flexible spending, and well-being benefits (e.g., EAP/fitness).
