Associate Director, Medical Program Management GI2

Role: Senior Program Leader for Medical asset-level initiatives, focusing on strategic execution and governance of complex global programs within Takeda’s Medical function. Responsibilities: oversee integrated planning, milestone management, risk mitigation, cross-functional stakeholder alignment, and escalation pathways; partner with Medical leaders to translate priorities into actionable, resource-aware program plans; enhance program visibility through data-driven updates, and contribute to evolving the Medical PMO standards and digital tools. Requirements: 10-12+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated healthcare environments with proven leadership in global programs; strong experience in translating Medical strategies into operational plans; PMP, Agile, or change management certifications preferred. High-Value: Asset and Therapeutic Area focus, program management in a regulated pharma setting, cross-functional collaboration across Medical, Regulatory, and Commercial units, and experience working in matrix organizations. Work Setup: Based in Cambridge, MA, with full-time, exempt employment, and no specified travel expectations.
