Associate Director, Medical Program Management

Role: Senior Program Leader in Medical PMO responsible for strategic asset-level program execution within Takeda's complex medical initiatives. Objectives: translate therapeutic area and asset priorities into well-governed, transparent, and deliverable programs, enhancing execution confidence through milestone management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment. Responsibilities: lead end-to-end planning, establish governance frameworks, facilitate decision-making, manage risks/issues, oversee budgets/resources, and evolve the PMO operating model with digital tools. Qualifications: 10-12+ years in regulated pharma/biotech environments, demonstrated leadership in global complex programs, with experience partnering with Medical leaders; PMP, Agile, or change management certifications preferred. High-Value: extensive experience in pharmaceutical project management, cross-functional stakeholder influence, program governance, and digital enablement; candidate likely to have background in clinical development or medical affairs with a focus on lifecycle management.
