Associate Director, Medical Content (US Medical Content Hub)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute medical content strategy across dermatology and rheumatology.
- Plan, develop, and implement medical communication and scientific training plans for assigned brands/pipeline therapies.
- Update/revise scientific platforms, core slide decks, and communication plans.
- Design and develop scientific/disease/product training for US Medical teams (incl. MSLs), aligned with processes.
- Collaborate with SMEs using latest scientific data; regularly update content for therapeutic/product advancements.
- Create innovative training channels; monitor learning outcomes via assessments.
- Use AI/digital-enabled approaches to improve efficiency.
- Manage project delivery (strategy, budget, timelines) and partner cross-functionally.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors; limited travel may be required.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Advanced degree (MPH, MS, PhD, MD, PharmD) in biosciences.
- 4+ years pharma or medical communications agency; 3+ years Medical Affairs (medical communications).
- Proven leadership of individuals/cross-functional teams.
- Experience with medical communications & congress programs (omnichannel/digital).
- Excellent written/oral communication; ability to work across therapeutic areas.
- Budget/resource/vendor management experience.
- Demonstrated digital/AI tools use (e.g., generative AI, data analytics, visualization) to drive change.
- Experience with Articulate (RISE/360) and Veeva (Vault/PromoMats).
- Understanding of clinical development and product life-cycle; strong scientific writing; data interpretation and strategic messaging; knowledge of compliance/regs.
