Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and execution of the global TTR publication strategy aligned with medical affairs objectives and franchise priorities.
- Lead assigned components of the publication plan across the evidence lifecycle (abstracts, posters, oral presentations, manuscripts, plain language summaries).
- Partner with Medical Directors, Clinical Development, and Biostatistics to identify publication opportunities aligned to strategic priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional publication planning and contribute to Publication Working Group (PWG) operations.
- Collaborate with external authors, investigators, and KOLs to develop and deliver scientific publications.
- Manage medical writing agencies and publication vendors to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
- Ensure publication activities comply with GPP, GPCAP, ICMJE criteria, and internal governance requirements.
- Maintain publication timelines, trackers, and documentation in publications management systems.
- Represent Medical Publications in cross-functional evidence dissemination planning; support Publication Steering Committees where applicable.
- Lead and mentor junior publication team members; foster scientific excellence and integrity.
Qualifications:
- PhD (preferred) or PharmD/MD with 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or medical agency.
- ISMPP Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) (preferred).
- Required: medical affairs/medical communications/publications/agency and/or KOL management experience.
- Preferred: experience in rare disease, cardiology, neurology, or RNA-based therapeutics.
- Required: publication strategy and execution for a complex, global program.
- Required: working knowledge of GPP, GPCAP, ICMJE.
- Required: ability to work in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- Required: strong verbal/written communication with scientific experts and senior stakeholders.
- Preferred: team/project management experience.
- Required: occasional travel (~2β6 times/year), including weekends.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- U.S. Pay Range: $173,700.00β$235,100.00; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive.
