Associate Director, Medical Strategy (Respiratory) β Medical Strategy and Communications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Medical Affairs plans to reflect program strategy and deliver key launch milestones.
- Provide strategic medical leadership and scientific input to cross-functional partners (clinical, operations, HEOR, commercial) with strong patient-centric perspective.
- Build and maintain relationships with external experts/stakeholders to inform strategy and strengthen disease-state leadership.
- Support data generation strategy; shape publication priorities and evolve evidence generation plans aligned to Program First.
- Review scientific communication materials, FAQs, and standard responses; help develop internal training to support compliant scientific exchange.
- Partner with Medical Strategy, Regions, and Finance to plan/manage annual budgets for medical activities; support budget planning, monthly tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate across medical functions/regions and with commercial, market access, and development to ensure a comprehensive medical affairs approach; drive One Insmed/respiratory Franchise alignment.
- Maintain scientific integrity and ensure activities follow Insmed policies.
Qualifications:
- MD, PharmD, or PhD with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
You are/also have:
- Ability to work independently and represent medical affairs in cross-functional teams.
- Matrix organization experience; lead by influence.
- Collaborative with multiple stakeholders; strategic thinking; change leadership.
- Strong written/verbal communication and attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- Pulmonology experience.
- Medical affairs planning/launch experience.
- Global and/or multi-region experience (including US).
Work details:
- Fully remote; occasional travel ~15%.
- Pay range: $164,000β$213,000 annual.
