Location: Irvine, CA (onsite days: Tues, Wed, Thurs)
Responsibilities:
- Lead scientific execution of medical strategies and initiatives for the Aesthetics portfolio.
- Oversee development and implementation of medical education and training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify insight trends by collecting feedback from field sources, summarizing insights, and communicating trends to the therapeutic team.
- Manage and drive key strategic medical projects aligned with the franchise brand plan (including new indications/disease states for pipeline products).
- Develop and curate scientific resources/materials to support external scientific communication (e.g., congress activities, ad boards, Med Ed; HCP/EE interactions; medical education, data, guidelines, value proposition).
- Ensure ongoing competitive intelligence to inform future tactics and strategies.
- Support lifecycle management for pipeline products and participate in evidence generation planning.
- Contribute to medical and brand functional planning; provide strategic medical input into brand/product strategies; partner with TA Lead to align external communication with TA and Commercial strategies.
Qualifications:
- Scientific degree; advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MD/DO, PharmD) preferred.
- 3β5 years clinical, scientific/research, or industry experience (or equivalent) with demonstrated leadership and ability to lead in a global matrixed environment; substantial therapeutic area understanding required.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design/methodology; regulatory and compliance requirements for promotional and non-promotional materials desired.
- Ability to interact externally and internally to support global scientific and business strategy.
- Ability to evaluate risk and implement compliant strategies with regulatory standards for pharmaceutical promotion.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and administrative skills; excellent written and presentation communication.
- Flexibility/adaptability in fast-paced environments; strong urgency and commitment to excellence.
- Excellent planning/organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong project management and teamwork skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority to deliver cross-functional projects.
