Responsibilities:
- Own Salesforce Marketing Cloud as an enterprise platform across brands, regions, and use cases, defining how it is configured, governed, and scaled to support compliant, high-quality omnichannel engagement.
- Establish standards for journey architecture, automation, data usage, suppression, and lifecycle management; serve as the escalation point for platform design decisions and long-term evolution.
- Enable journey orchestration by defining technical patterns that Omnichannel teams use to design and execute engagement (data-driven, automated, compliant by design, reusable at scale), separating platform enablement from journey strategy, content, and sequencing.
- Partner with Data Management to ensure Salesforce Marketing Cloud consumes Customer Data Platform outputs; define requirements for audience availability, refresh cadence, eligibility, and suppression.
- Govern how customer segments and audiences are requested, approved, reused, and retired for Marketing Cloud activation to reduce duplication and ensure consistent execution aligned with enterprise data, consent, and regulatory standards.
- Embed privacy and compliance into marketing execution by translating regulatory and consent requirements into Marketing Cloud guardrails.
- Drive platform adoption and value by establishing operating models, tracking platform-level success metrics (e.g., adoption of standard patterns, reduction of bespoke configurations, platform reliability), and continuously improving usage at scale.

Qualifications:
- 8–10+ years in Marketing Technology, CRM, or Commercial Technology with increasing responsibility for enterprise-scale platforms.
- Deep, hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform experience (journey architecture, automation patterns, data model design, suppression/eligibility logic, governance); experience owning Marketing Cloud as a shared enterprise capability.
- Strong CDP concepts (identity resolution, segmentation, activation flows such as Salesforce Data Cloud); partner with data engineering/platform teams; understand activation enablement.
- Experience in regulated/policy-constrained environments; familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, and enterprise data governance.
- Ability to define/enforce platform standards (journey patterns, data usage guardrails, lifecycle management) while enabling business teams to move within approved boundaries.
- Proven cross-functional partnership (data engineering, IT, privacy/legal, marketing/growth).
- Matrix organization experience; influence without direct authority; trusted platform advisor.
- Strong communication and executive presence.

Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage; life and disability insurance; lifestyle reimbursement program; flexible spending/health savings accounts; 401(k) with generous company match; paid time off, wellness days, holidays, and two recharge breaks; family resources and leave.
