As an Associate Director in GDSI Oncology Integrated Insights, you will support Gilead’s Lung Cancer portfolio and pipeline through forecasting, analytics, and market research to inform commercial strategy, launch readiness, and lifecycle management for lung oncology assets (including EVOKE-03 and pipeline assets).
Essential Duties & Functions
- Market Research
- Define global market research priorities for Lung Cancer (launch preparation, early lifecycle optimization, pipeline strategy).
- Lead qualitative and quantitative primary research across physician, patient, and payer audiences (e.g., EVOKE-03 and emerging lung programs).
- Translate market research into insights and implications for commercial, clinical, and development strategy.
- Use secondary data (e.g., prescription data, epidemiology, treatment patterns) to assess market dynamics.
- Forecasting/Analytics
- Develop and maintain long-term forecast models (epidemiology, competition, uptake/share, pricing, revenue assumptions).
- Support launch/pre-launch forecasting and scenario planning/pipeline valuation for future programs (RF2/RF3).
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align forecasting assumptions.
- Conduct base-case and scenario analyses to support investment decisions.
Knowledge, Experience, & Skills
- Influence without authority; conflict resolution and consensus building.
- Present complex materials/data to senior leadership; matrix organization experience.
- Proven experience with global Sales/Marketing and pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA/IMS, SHA, chart audits).
- Commercial analytics, qualitative/quantitative market research, and patient-based modeling.
- Strong project management; excellent written/verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) to communicate quantitative data.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 10+ years; or Master’s + 2+ years; or PhD + 2+ years relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in biotechnology/pharma/consulting focused on market research, forecasting, analytics, decision analytics, commercial strategy, or marketing.
- Advanced business or life science degree; oncology knowledge; biopharmaceutical-focused marketing/commercial strategy/consulting.

Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range: $195,670.00–$253,220.00; may include discretionary bonus and stock-based long-term incentives; paid time off; benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
