Responsibilities
- Lead analytics to evaluate account performance, market share, chargebacks, channel mix, and pathway positioning.
- Analyze payer coverage policies, utilization management requirements, and reimbursement dynamics affecting access.
- Monitor policy evolution and identify access risks/opportunities.
- Evaluate reimbursement trends, patient services utilization, and claims approval rates.
- Build analytics for oncology provider economics, reimbursement benchmarks, and buy-and-bill dynamics.
- Assess reimbursement methodologies (ASP+, temporary/permanent J-codes, pass-through status) and site-of-care dynamics (community, hospital outpatient, academic).
- Evaluate provider adoption drivers (reimbursement predictability, margin, operational barriers).
- Develop and maintain dashboards/reporting; integrate claims, remittance, 3PL, HUB, and syndicated datasets; ensure data governance/readiness with Sales Ops.
- Perform ad hoc analyses; support pricing/contracting/access/launch readiness decisions and scenario modeling; champion analytics methodology and visualization best practices.
- Serve as primary analytics partner to Market Access; translate findings into leadership recommendations.
Qualifications
Required
- BS in Business/Analytics/Economics/Data Science/Life Sciences (or related).
- 6β8+ years in pharma/biotech analytics, market access, consulting, or commercial analytics.
- Oncology experience analyzing payer coverage, reimbursement, and patient access.
- Familiarity with medical benefit reimbursement and buy-and-bill models.
- Experience with healthcare datasets (open/closed claims, remittance, 3PL, patient support data).
- Advanced analytics/visualization (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and strong communication.
Preferred
- Oncology launch experience; knowledge of J-codes and Medicare reimbursement methodologies.
- Familiarity with IQVIA/MMIT/Symphony/Komodo (or similar) and small/emerging biotech experience.
