Key Responsibilities
- Lead MSAT technical projects supporting commercial manufacturing, with primary focus on drug substance (API) activities at external CMOs
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Drive execution of MSAT-owned activities while coordinating cross-functional inputs
- Lead and develop a blended team of MSAT project managers (internal and contingent)
- Coordinate delivery of MSAT-led programs (work allocation, deliverable quality, performance expectations)
- Serve as primary MSAT interface with CMOs; coordinate deliverables, timelines, and dependencies
- Facilitate project reviews, risk discussions, and issue resolution with CMOs
- Manage API projects (technology transfer, process changes, site onboarding, manufacturing readiness)
- Support end-to-end CMC projects across DS/DP/supply chain readiness as needed
- Identify, track, and escalate technical risks; manage project changes and governance
- Provide project updates to leadership and cross-functional teams; ensure GMP-aligned execution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related technical discipline
- 10β12 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/MSAT/technical operations/technical project management
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving external CMOs
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (preferably drug substance/API)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting small-molecule drug substance manufacturing
- Experience managing end-to-end CMC or technical operations projects
- GMP familiarity; regulated project execution
- Experience building/managing teams in a regulated, matrixed environment
- PMP or equivalent (plus)
