Objectives include ensuring efficient, compliant manufacturing, supporting patient needs with inventory management, and driving continuous improvement via digital systems and automation. Responsibilities encompass overseeing manufacturing execution, resource allocation, cost analysis, quality culture promotion, and team development. Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders and reports to the Senior Director. Location is Boston, MA, with a hybrid or onsite work model supporting 7-day operations. Requirements: Bachelor's in science, engineering, or related field; typically 12+ years in drug product manufacturing, with leadership experience in GMP environments, supporting regulatory inspections (FDA, EMA), and managing manufacturing teams. Skills include GMP expertise, metrics tracking, digital system proficiency (MES), budget management, and culture change facilitation. Preferred: experience with cell therapy modalities, automation, and scaling manufacturing for commercial supply.
