Associate Director, Manufacturing

Role: Associate Director of Manufacturing overseeing cell therapy production (TCR T, CAR T, allogeneic). Objectives: ensure safe, compliant, reliable manufacturing operations supporting clinical and future commercial supply. Responsibilities: lead manufacturing teams and shifts, maintain GMP compliance, establish operational models, mentor managers, drive performance via KPIs, support capacity planning, collaborate cross-functionally (Quality, MSAT, Process Development, Supply Chain, EHS, Facilities, Regulatory), ensure audit readiness, support technology transfers, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's in science, engineering, or related field; 7–10+ years GMP manufacturing experience, especially in biologics or cell therapies; proven leadership managing multi-disciplinary teams; strong knowledge of GMP, documentation, deviations, CAPAs, and regulated environments. Preferred: experience in cell-based therapies, clinical and commercial manufacturing, digital systems (e.g., MES), process validation, and lean methodologies. High-value: biologics or cell therapy manufacturing, GMP compliance, cross-functional leadership, capacity planning, and clinical to commercial transition support. Work setup: onsite five days/week, with a flexible approach; no specific travel mentioned.
