Associate Director, Maintenance (Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellow)

Role: Associate Director of Maintenance overseeing operational leadership and technical maintenance for a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing site. Objectives include ensuring equipment reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, and supporting production and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities encompass participating in capital projects and FATs for utilities and process equipment, developing maintenance strategies, supervising daily maintenance operations, and supporting the site’s Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) strategy. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing maintenance performance metrics, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring GMP compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering or related field; 7+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech maintenance, including 3+ years in supervisory roles; experience with CMMS, GMP, safety standards, and process troubleshooting. Preferred qualifications include experience with potent compound manufacturing, FATs/SATs, predictive maintenance technologies, and developing maintenance teams. The position is part of the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program, a 12-week unpaid training opportunity designed for transitioning service members.
