Position Summary
Associate Director, Local Delivery Lead/Local Trial Manager provides end-to-end leadership for US clinical study delivery, serving as the operational link between global study teams and US local operations. Accountable for recruitment (including patient representation), timelines, budget, quality, and regulatory compliance, while acting as a trusted leader/coach and GCP subject-matter expert.

Responsibilities
- Lead the US local study team; provide matrix leadership and project management for study activities.
- Act as point-of-contact between central GSK and US study teams; collaborate with local medical/regulatory affairs to align requirements and IND/GCP/ICH guidelines.
- Deliver portfolio of studies to recruitment targets, patient representation, time, budget, quality, and local regulatory expectations.
- Maintain disease-area knowledge; competitive landscape, local treatment guidelines, and healthcare system requirements.
- Leverage AI/digital tools to streamline processes and improve decision-making.
- Proactively identify, resolve, and/or escalate risks/issues; support troubleshooting and high-quality execution.
- Manage multiple priorities; provide timely feedback; manage stakeholders (internal leadership and sites).
- Standardize processes, share best practices, represent local/regional clinical ops on initiatives; serve as SME.
- Continuously develop expertise in GCP, SOPs, monitoring, site and project management.

Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS.
- 7+ years as clinical trial manager/local delivery lead; at least 4 years managing medicines trials.
- Phase I–III medicines trial experience in Respiratory, Immunology and/or Inflammation; knowledge across study lifecycle.
- Experience leading multiple complex design studies.

Preferred Qualifications
- MS/PhD (or equivalent) and project management experience.
- Problem solving/negotiation/conflict resolution in matrix; strong planning/organization; deep US human research regulations (IND/GCP/ICH, GSK SOP/POL).
- Willing to travel; strong written/verbal communication.
