Role Summary

The Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing – Regional Engagement, Insights and Events will support regional engagement initiatives, insights gathering and events management for the Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) focus within the Liver franchise. This field-based role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and external opinion leaders, with location preferred in California or Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan focusing on regional engagement initiatives, insight gathering and events management
  • Coordinate Liver Franchise priorities with Marketing & Sales and cross-functional teams
  • Drive development and implementation of key regional priority opportunities and activations
  • Foster the Liver leadership narrative and amplify partnership activities
  • Develop and execute insight plans for key stakeholders, including speaker bureau and regional advisory boards as appropriate
  • Orchestrate Gilead’s presence at key Liver events and sponsorships, aligning with commercial priorities
  • Manage and direct agency partners to deliver the annual tactical plan within budget
  • Develop and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and external audiences
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies

Qualifications

  • Preferred: 10 years of professional experience
  • Preferred: 8+ years MS/MA or MBA
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required
  • Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales and commercial policies and practices
  • Previous experience in marketing research and/or pharmaceutical sales desired
  • MBA or other advanced degree desired
  • Liver experience and relationships preferred
