Role Summary
Associate Director, Liver Franchise Marketing – Regional Engagement, Insights and Events. This role focuses on the Liver franchise with an emphasis on Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC). Field-based in the East Region, with preferred location in New Jersey, New York or Pennsylvania. Reports to the Senior Director, US Liver Franchise Opinion Leader Programming.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan focusing on regional engagement initiatives, insight gathering and events management.
- Coordinate Liver Franchise strategic priorities across Marketing & Sales and cross-functional teams.
- Drive development and implementation of key regional priority opportunities and activations.
- Foster Liver leadership narrative and amplify key partnership activities.
- Develop and execute insight plans for key stakeholders, including speaker bureau and regional advisory boards when appropriate.
- Orchestrate presence at key Liver events and sponsorships ensuring engagement and alignment with commercial priorities.
- Manage and direct agency partners to deliver on the annual tactical plan within the assigned budget.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies.
Qualifications
- Basic: Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience; or Master's Degree and 8 years of experience; or PhD and 2 years of experience.
- Preferred: 10 years of professional experience; 8+ years MS/MA or MBA; Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales and commercial policies; experience in marketing research and/or pharmaceutical sales; MBA or advanced degree in business or public health; Liver experience and relationships; strong customer focus; collaborative work style; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication; ability to simplify complex topics; strong listening and adaptability; proven project management with multiple priorities.
