Associate Director, Legal Counsel (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal clients supporting commercial business operations.
- Advise cross-functional teams on patient services, market access, and HCP interaction.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (trade/distribution, supply, specialty pharmacy, patient support, and other commercial agreements).
- Draft, review, and negotiate HCP-related agreements (consulting, speaker bureau, advisory boards) with internal policy compliance.
- Partner with Compliance on healthcare compliance programs for drug promotion, field customer engagement, financial arrangements, and transparency reporting.
- Serve as legal business partner with Commercial and Medical Affairs for HCP engagement workflows and documentation.
- Support legal leadership with risk identification/mitigation; manage independent legal projects; improve processes/templates.
- Develop/present training materials on legal issues.

Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and 5+ years relevant experience at a law firm and/or pharma/biotech company.
- Strong commercial, compliance, and regulatory knowledge for branded pharmaceuticals.
- Proven contract drafting/negotiation experience (market access, sourcing, complex commercial agreements, HCP agreements).
- Knowledge of federal/state healthcare laws (Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, FDA rules, Sunshine Act).
- Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and business-pragmatic legal judgment.
- Experience or interest in market access regulations (Medicare, Medicaid, 340B).
- Ability to travel periodically.

Compensation/Benefits (as listed):
- Anticipated base pay range: $223,000–$261,000; bonus/equity may be provided.
