Associate Director of Launch Strategy and Operations (Oncology)
Responsibilities
- Launch Strategy Development: Create holistic, integrated launch plans aligned to organizational objectives and market dynamics.
- Market Readiness Oversight: Develop and implement market readiness frameworks; monitor key indicators and address challenges.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with global marketing, sales, operations, market access, patient/customer experience, manufacturing, and other functions.
- Governance and Accountability: Set governance for launch planning, milestone tracking, and escalation of issues.
- Program Management: Oversee launch readiness execution using the company launch planning tool; ensure timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Risk Management: Identify risks/interdependencies across launch workstreams and develop mitigation strategies.
- Process Optimization & Best Practices: Improve launch execution processes; capture lessons learned to inform future strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelorβs in Business, Marketing, Biotechnology, or related field; 5+ years commercial experience in biopharma/life sciences (marketing, sales, or commercial operations). Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization; strong project management.
- Preferred: Launch experience in pharma (especially Oncology); analytical/data-driven decision-making; familiarity with Agile.
