Role: Associate Director of Lab Asset Management overseeing laboratory equipment maintenance and service operations at Takeda's U.S. R&D sites. Responsibilities: lead third-party vendor oversight for preventative maintenance, calibrations, repairs; develop and monitor performance metrics; optimize asset lifecycle, reduce downtime, and manage budgets for maintenance activities; collaborate with scientific, finance, procurement, and operational teams to improve service delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance; drive process improvements and change management across sites. Requirements: bachelorβs in life sciences, engineering, operations, or related field; extensive experience in laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, vendor management, ideally within regulated biotech/pharma environments; proficiency in service model strategies, performance analytics, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
