Role Summary
Associate Director, IT - Value & Access. Support the Access & Value team within the Commercial organization by delivering technology solutions for payer engagement, pricing strategy, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), and real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives. Hybrid role based in Parsippany, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT partner for the Access & Value team, including Payer Strategy, HEOR, Pricing & Contracting, and Government Affairs.
- Translate business needs into technology requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year IT roadmap for Access & Value capabilities.
- Lead the implementation and support of platforms and tools for payer engagement, contracting, value communication and evidence generation, and pricing analytics and forecasting.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Partner with Data & Analytics teams to enable access to real-world data (RWD), claims data, and health economics models.
- Support the development of dashboards and visualizations for payer insights, pricing trends, and access performance metrics.
- Ensure data quality, integration, and compliance with regulatory and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Work closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal teams to ensure technology solutions meet cross-functional needs.
- Support digital initiatives that enhance payer value propositions and evidence dissemination.
- Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and technology partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Lead project planning, execution, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption and business impact.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of IT or digital experience, with 3–5 years supporting Market Access, HEOR, or Pricing & Contracting in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Experience with payer data, RWE platforms, and value-based healthcare technologies.
- Skills: Strong understanding of the U.S. and global market access environment; familiarity with Model N, Revitas, SAS, Tableau, and cloud-based data platforms; excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership; knowledge of healthcare data regulatory and privacy requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting specialty or rare disease products; familiarity with AI/ML applications in pricing, access analytics, or RWE; certifications in Agile, PMP, or ITIL.
