Associate Director – IT Systems Delivery Lead
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervise and align multiple MQ Technology programs to meet objectives, timelines, budgets, and impacts.
- Identify interdependencies and ensure seamless integration across initiatives.
- Manage risks, cross-connections, and resource exchanges to drive cohesive execution and maximize value.
- Ensure programs align with the Strategy for New facilities and deliver outcomes efficiently within budget.
- Participate in business and strategic financial plan conversations for new-facility programs/projects.
How You’ll Succeed
- Lead/manage large-scale programs from design through delivery in a greenfield site.
- Oversee release train process and coordinate for timely product/service delivery.
- Select Agile and/or Waterfall approaches for effective timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure GxP compliance for quality and regulatory requirements.
- Manage stakeholders with clear communication and regular updates.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Allocate resources across projects.
- Create and present program progress/performance/outcome reporting.
- Communicate complex technical info to technical/non-technical stakeholders; influence senior leadership.
- Understand and apply site business processes; collaborate with Process Engineers, Operations, Quality, and TS/MS to resolve solution issues.
- Drive site adoption of solutions aligned to Site/IT strategy.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field.
- 10+ years in program/portfolio management overseeing multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Waterfall/Scrum and software development methodologies.
- Experience in Pharma and GMP manufacturing.
Additional Preferences
- Experience managing pharmaceutical programs/projects; startup of new facility or clinical development manufacturing site.
- Large-scale cross-functional program experience.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; assess risks and trade-offs.
- Leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
- Participation in industry forums/standards organizations.
Other Information
- Monday–Friday, based on-site; flexible for production schedules/shutdowns; occasional extended/off-hour work.
- Based at new API manufacturing facilities (Houston TX, Richmond VA, Huntsville AL); initial 6–12 months require travel to Indianapolis, IN HQ.
- 5–10% business travel.
