Associate Director – IT Systems Delivery Lead

What You’ll Be Doing / Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale programs end-to-end (design, execution, delivery) for greenfield site initiatives.
- Supervise and align multiple MQ Technology programs to meet objectives, timelines, budgets, and impacts; identify interdependencies and ensure seamless integration.
- Oversee release train engineering; coordinate teams for timely delivery of products/services.
- Select Agile vs. Waterfall approaches to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects adhere to GxP standards; maintain quality and regulatory compliance.
- Manage stakeholders with clear communication and regular status updates.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; allocate resources across projects.
- Produce reporting on program progress, performance metrics, and outcomes.
- Apply business-process knowledge to solutions; partner with Process Engineers, Operations, Quality, and TS/MS to resolve issues.
- Drive site adoption of assigned solutions aligned to Site/IT strategy.

- Communicate complex technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders; influence senior leadership.
- Stay current on new technologies and evaluate fit.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field.
- 10+ years in program/portfolio management overseeing multiple projects.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Scrum) and software development methodologies.
- Experience in Pharma and GMP Manufacturing.

Additional Preferences
- Experience in pharmaceutical program/project management; startup of new facility or clinical development manufacturing site.
- Cross-functional, large-scale program experience; proven leadership of cross-functional teams.
- Participation in industry forums/standards organizations.

Other Information
- Monday–Friday; based on-site; occasional extended/off-hour support; 5–10% travel.
- Based at planned new API facilities (Houston TX, Richmond VA, Huntsville AL); initial 6–12 months may require travel to HQ in Indianapolis IN.

Compensation/Benefits
- Anticipated wage: $124,500–$182,600. Eligible for company bonus and comprehensive benefits (401(k), pension, vacation, medical/dental/vision/prescription, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off/leave, well-being benefits).
