Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the international P2P & HCP engagement strategy for AbbVie’s Gastroenterology portfolio.
- Partner with Area and Affiliate teams to translate global strategies into localized, high-impact engagement programs.
- Champion a patient-centric vision, ensuring P2P initiatives drive meaningful clinical dialogue and adoption.
- Lead planning of International Expert Forums, symposia, and advisory initiatives that reinforce AbbVie’s scientific leadership.
- Develop and standardize speaker and KOL engagement frameworks across markets.
- Oversee training and development of speakers and scientific advocates; ensure content is data-driven and compliant.
- Leverage digital, hybrid, and in-person formats to expand reach and engagement quality.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using performance dashboards, KPIs, and feedback analytics.
- Build relationships with regional KOLs, professional societies, and patient organizations.
- Partner with Medical Affairs and Market Access to align engagement strategy with evolving scientific and payer landscapes.
- Align P2P and engagement initiatives with brand objectives, launches, and lifecycle priorities.
- Partner with commercial teams to identify emerging influencers and new engagement opportunities in each market.
- Ensure engagements are executed in line with AbbVie’s compliance and governance standards.
- Use analytics and field insights to continuously refine HCP engagement strategies.
- Identify trends in scientific adoption, digital engagement, and peer influence networks.
- Drive innovation in engagement models (virtual advisory boards, on-demand education, omnichannel learning).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; MBA or MSc preferred.
- 5+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, ideally in Gastroenterology/Immunology.
- Proven record in HCP engagement, peer-to-peer programs, and brand/customer excellence leadership.
- Deep understanding of IBD market dynamics, treatment landscape, and competitive positioning.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional influence skills.
- Ability to travel internationally (~40%).
- Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.
