Associate Director, International Market Analytics and Business Intelligence (IMABI) – Parkinson’s disease (OUS)
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the IMABI lead for the Parkinson’s disease assets.
- Partner with International, Area, and Affiliate leadership to guide brand and co-positioning strategies using an insights-led, data/analytics approach.
- Lead cross-functional business teams (International Brand Teams/INBT) and Area/Affiliates to frame and prioritize critical brand questions, enable faster business decisions, and present interim/end results to Brand Teams, Senior Management, and/or Vendors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Area and Key Affiliate contacts to co-create and execute plans, eliminate redundancies, and ensure consistent market understanding.
- Motivate BI partners and lead continuous brand planning using knowledge of market drivers, patient journey, competition, and positioning to enhance patient and HCP experience.
- Proactively identify new data sources and analytics opportunities to support current, objective, comprehensive insights.
- Lead commercial competitive intelligence to anticipate competitor strategies and achieve market leadership.
- Provide insights to shape dynamics and market evolution over the next 3–5 years; measure and evaluate effectiveness of core strategies and key initiatives.
- Lead and participate in initiatives to improve IMABI data and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure IMABI activities are completed on time, within budget, and in line with financial and ethical compliance guidelines.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA/MA) preferred. Degree concentration in market research, marketing, or social sciences. Statistical knowledge is a plus.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Analytics, Market research, Marketing, and/or Business Intelligence; strong working knowledge of key healthcare data sources/analytic approaches at global and country level; experience developing/executing global analytics and research plans; experience analyzing quantitative and secondary data.
- Global pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience. Neuroscience/Migraine Disease and Launch experience preferred.
- Excellent strategic thinking and thought leadership; strong storytelling.
- Analytical reasoning, intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and creative problem-solving; ability to develop/test hypotheses using data (market dynamics trends in Microsoft Excel).
- Experience influencing cross-functional, global, and affiliate teams.
- Ability to interact effectively with and present to all organizational levels (verbal and written).
- Agile/nimble, strong collaboration across functional groups; lead strategically and build trust/respect.
