Role: Associate Director, Immunology, leading cell-based assay development for preclinical cancer immunology programs. Responsibilities: develop and troubleshoot assays to assess MoA, manage a team of two scientists, ensure experimental quality, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including pharmacology and therapeutics discovery. Responsibilities also include streamlining workflows, authoring protocols and study reports, managing external vendors, and mentoring staff. Requirements: PhD with 6+ years or equivalent industry experience, extensive hands-on expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry (10+ colors), primary human immune cell culture, and flow analysis tools (e.g., FlowJo). Proficiency in data analysis software (Excel, GraphPad Prism) and excellent communication skills are essential. Preferred: experience managing small teams and working with CROs. High-Value: cancer immunology, autoimmunity, immune cell biology, pre-IND studies, GxP laboratory environment.
