Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Manage employee relations cases (performance issues, policy violations, workplace conflicts); conduct thorough investigations and recommend outcomes
- Coach and advise managers on performance management, corrective action, and employee communication
- Partner with site leadership to address employee concerns while balancing operational needs, consistency, and risk mitigation

Coaching & Manager Effectiveness
- Coach and influence front-line and mid-level leaders on performance management, corrective action, and employee communication
- Enable proactive, effective handling of performance issues to improve workforce capability and reduce escalation

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Advise SLC leaders on people/organizational needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Partner with Talent Acquisition for hiring needs (workforce planning input, interview participation, candidate assessment, job description refinement)

Workforce Experience & Development
- Support onboarding and orientation to accelerate integration and improve employee experience
- Provide input into learning and development based on capability gaps and employee relations trends

Workforce Operations & Contingent Labor Management
- Manage contingent workforce processes (vendor coordination, contract administration, onboarding/offboarding) with compliance to policies and legal requirements
- Use HR systems/data for accurate records, audit support, and trend identification

Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelorโ€™s + 12+ years progressive HR experience (or Masterโ€™s + 10+ years); employee relations in manufacturing/operational environment
- Biotech/life sciences manufacturing experience highly preferred
- SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred; expertise in investigations, performance management, conflict resolution
- High-volume complex casework with strong documentation/attention to detail
- Strong coaching skills; knowledge of employment law/HR policies; ability to assess risk and decide in ambiguity
