Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of the HCP marketing strategy for rare disease therapy.
- Translate HCP insights into marketing strategies, channel plans, and tactical recommendations.
- Collaborate with Sales to align messaging, understand field needs, and support HCP engagement.
- Develop and execute HCP initiatives across field-facing and peer-to-peer channels.
- Lead agency partners to create creative, content, and channel assets.
- Partner with commercial operations/omnichannel teams to define and use metrics to assess effectiveness.
- Contribute insights, competitive intelligence, and recommendations for future HCP initiatives.
- Partner with Compliance, Regulatory, and Legal to ensure patient communications meet Xeris and FDA/OPDP standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Lead and develop an Associate Marketing Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelorβs degree required (MBA/advanced degree preferred).
- 8+ years in pharma/healthcare; 4+ years in brand marketing (HCP marketing preferred).
- Preferred people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical advertising/promotion regulations; FDA guidance.
- Experience managing promotional review workflows with legal/regulatory teams.
- Proven strategy development and tactical execution; ability to manage multiple projects/agencies in a matrixed environment.
- Familiarity with market research, KPIs, and CRM systems (e.g., Veeva); strong analytical and insight-generation skills.
Working conditions:
- Hybrid (Chicago); at least 3 days/week on-site. Travel ~15β20%; occasional evenings/weekends.
Compensation:
- Anticipated base salary range: $140,000β$230,000.
