Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead program manager for program team(s) and other ad-hoc cross-functional teams as required.
- Create project plans; identify and track critical path/activities, goals, risks, contingencies, and alternative pathways.
- Ensure execution of aligned program strategy by driving alignment to priorities, objectives, deliverables, interdependencies, and timelines.
- Proactively manage daily program management activities, including function-specific development activities, and integration across project programs, budget, communication, and status reporting.
- Generate and maintain integrated program timelines (source of truth) and ensure inter-program dependencies are aligned, executed, tracked, and communicated.
- Communicate program status, timelines, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders; maintain program dashboards for senior leadership.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks; foster relationships with team members and functional line managers.
- Execute effective meetings; independently lead ad-hoc teams/projects with specific deliverables; advise/manage other program managers as necessary.

Qualifications:
- BS or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years industry experience with at least 2 years in a manager role (advanced degrees may substitute).
- Prior program management experience in a matrix organization is required.

Preferred Skills:
- PMP certification.
- Expert proficiency with MS Project and program timeline tools (e.g., Workfront).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior technical experience in a scientific discipline expected.
