Role: Associate Director for Asset Recovery, serving as the global process owner and strategic lead for Lilly’s surplus and pre-owned equipment lifecycle. Objectives include maximizing value recovery, ensuring compliant disposition, and enabling reuse across Lilly and external channels. Responsibilities encompass managing the end-to-end lifecycle of surplus equipment, optimizing value through redeployment, resale, donation, or scrap, and governing asset recovery standards, systems, and data integrity. The role involves risk and compliance oversight, partnering with legal, finance, and QA teams, leading vendor and partner relationships, and advising on disposition strategies aligned with site and enterprise needs. Additionally, the position supports large-scale initiatives like site closures, capacity rebalancing, and M&A-related disposals, influencing capital planning and delivering executive-level financial impact reports. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), minimum 5 years in project leadership, financial analysis, or capital/cost management, with experience in pharma operations, logistics, or vendor management being advantageous. The role demands strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance expertise, with occasional travel (25-35%) to North American sites. The work is primarily onsite with some remote flexibility.
