Associate Director, Global Pain Forecasting & Analytics

Role: Associate Director, Global Pain Forecasting & Analytics, leads development and evolution of forecasting models for Vertex’s Pain portfolio, supporting strategic planning, commercialization, and pipeline decisions. Responsibilities: design and refine global forecast models incorporating clinical, market, and competitive data; support scenario planning and long-term projections; synthesize complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership; collaborate across functions including Marketing, Strategy, Finance, and Research; and leverage AI tools to enhance analytics workflows. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years in biotech/pharma analytics or commercial strategy, with experience supporting global or marketed assets; expertise in forecast modeling across development stages; proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, SAS, and BI tools; strong commercial acumen and communication skills. Preferred: Advanced degrees (MBA/MS/PhD); experience in Pain, neuroscience, or adjacent areas; familiarity with generative AI.
