Responsibilities:
- Establish relationships across compound and cross-functional teams, regions/geographies, development phases, and with alliance partners/vendors to resolve medical information strategy for launching molecules.
- Use deep Medical Affairs expertise to understand the voice of the customer and create a Global Medical Information (GMI) launch strategy.
- Use customer insights to develop GMI content that improves customer understanding across channels (Digital; Contact Centers).
- Ensure unsolicited verbal and written Medical Information inquiries from HCPs and consumers are answered timely, accurately, and compliantly.
- Lead development of comprehensive medical information portfolio training for affiliate/regional/call center partners to improve the first customer touchpoint at product launch.
- Provide functional coaching and lead initiatives impacting GMI processes, procedures, and systems.
- Develop and maintain expertise in drug information practices; apply benchmarking to internal Medical Information discipline.
- Provide staffing support and expertise at the Medical Information booth at scientific congresses.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of medical affairs or medical writing experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor visas.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Master’s (min 2 years medical affairs/medical writing).
- PhD/PharmD; post-doctoral experience; oncology experience or medical affairs/medical writing.
- Strong written/professional verbal English.
- Experience leveraging generative AI for scientific writing.
- Ability to lead/influence without authority; assimilate and communicate large medical information volumes.
- Adaptable to emerging technologies (e.g., content management/delivery systems, analytics).
- High-level computer skills (databases, spreadsheets, presentations/PowerPoint, templates).
- Travel as needed (10–20%, may be international).
- Attention to detail; translate content strategy into implementation plans.
