Primary Responsibilities
- Portfolio analytics: Lead development of commercial data and insights for Global influenza portfolio priorities; conceptualize analytics capabilities and tools anchored to marketing and launch frameworks (including patient insights and L3 early framework).
- Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with global marketing, DHH, and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and increase commercial rigor across pipeline asset development; serve as Insights & Analytics quarterback to address key business questions using digital, data, and analytics.
- Strategy enablement: Lead Strategic Portfolio Reviews, Trimester Business Reviews (QBRs), prioritization meetings; synthesize and document trade-off decisions and DHH aspirations for executive audiences via active updates to the Book of Work.
- Analytics delivery: Proactively manage analytics project delivery using data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel-VBA, PowerBI or similar); apply patient modeling techniques (statistical, patient-flow, simulations) for insight generation.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelorβs degree (preferably science or business).
- 5+ years in insights & analytics, strategic planning, advanced analytics, market research, marketing, or related roles in pharmaceutical/biotech.
- Strong data-grounded storytelling and communication.
- Ability to translate commercial analytics into actionable insights and recommendations for presentations.
- Deep understanding of real-world data assets and commercial healthcare data ecosystem.
- Experience performing secondary data analytics on large datasets.
- Relationship-building, problem-solving, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Advanced degree (e.g., MS, PharmD, PhD).
- Experience with healthcare datasets, insights, and analytics.
- Life sciences or consulting experience.
- Deep knowledge in global life sciences analytics (US/ex-US datasets, market research, forecasting, predictive analytics, competitive intelligence, etc.).
- Vaccines and/or infectious disease experience.
