Role Summary
Associate Director, Global Commercialization Strategy. Based in New Jersey, US. Full-time position focused on supporting global commercial launch readiness and implementing a global commercialization strategy for the BioNTech portfolio, collaborating across R&D, Regulatory, Access, Finance, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Proven project management with the ability to chair meetings, set agendas, and manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders with clear actions within tight timeframes
- Manage and drive market-level co-commercialization governance and operations, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to create appropriate market infrastructure
- Support and collaborate with the global commercialization leadership team and cross-functional groups for development and implementation of strategic and executional initiatives
- Work with diverse cross-functional teams to operationalize strategic guidance, driving performance and business objectives
- Monitor and track budget requirements, including managing vendor partnerships to ensure key activities are executed to plan, cost-effectively and within budget
- Understand requirements for launch success, including enabling functions and market-level operational requirements
- Understand global markets, including new product development, regulatory landscape, reimbursement environment, and healthcare system dynamics
- Know R&D processes, governance forums and frameworks
- Preference for experience with a diversified portfolio, including oncology and infectious disease
- Accountable for initiatives to drive excellence in culture, operations and ways of working
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in life sciences, biotech, or pharma, or equivalent
- Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize, multitask, and meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and alignment-building skills; resourceful and able to collaborate across Commercial Team and other departments
- Adaptable mindset to navigate change and drive continuous improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint
