Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with transportation, warehouse operations, supporting functions, and finance to ensure timely payment of freight invoices per contracts.
- Produce financial reports; partner with regional/local finance for month-end close and accruals.
- Monitor and explain monthly transportation budget performance vs. plan.
- Ensure accurate general ledger coding and cost allocation.
- Develop and monitor regional and global freight audit and payment process strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting requirements and applicable industry/legal standards.
- Measure and report audit/payment process effectiveness.
- Ensure freight payment data transfers into the company system of record and reconcile provider/company reporting.
- Define metrics, maintain dashboards, implement improvements, and manage automation/enhancements projects.
- Manage third-party freight audit providers and lead improvement initiatives.
- Mentor/train team members and new hires on freight audit/payment policies, procedures, and systems.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years supply chain/audit/logistics (or related).
- 3+ years freight audit and payment.
- Bachelorโ€™s in Business, Finance, or related.
- Attention to detail with large datasets; critical thinking.
- Experience in multi-functional projects and global teams.

Preferred:
- Masterโ€™s; 10+ years across all transportation modes.
- Power BI/analytics dashboarding; people management; leadership experience.
