Role Summary

Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at ADC Therapeutics. You will lead financial analysis, planning, and controls in collaboration with Technical Operations leadership, owning forecasting accuracy and cost estimation. This role reports to the VP, FP&A and is based in New Providence, NJ with flexibility for remote work; local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Business Partnership: Provide financial analysis and decision support to TechOps Leadership; Collaborate with business leaders to develop and track key financial metrics, including risks and opportunities, to monitor performance and enhance forecasting accuracy; Partner on special projects and strategic initiatives, as needed.
  • Financial Planning & Process Leadership: Establish and lead process around financial deliverables, reviews, and updates; Establish a monthly review process for project and PO status to ensure seamless integration into forecasting cycles; Collaborate with TechOps team to provide licensing partners quarterly cross-charges and semiannual cross charge forecasts; Partner with Controller team to develop annual and long-range standard cost estimates.
  • Controls & Compliance: Recommend, develop, and implement financial practices and policies to ensure compliance; Review TechOps accrual estimates, including calculations and documentation, to ensure accuracy; Partner with the Controller and external auditors to support financial reviews and audits.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of FP&A business partnering experience with 5+ years in biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong experience with accrual accounting
  • Experience developing standard cost (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)
