The Associate Director of Oncology Training is responsible for developing and delivering the sales franchise curriculum for AbbVie US customer-facing teams. Leads the development and delivery of the annual training strategy aligned to brand marketing strategic imperatives. Works with cross-functional teams (Training, Medical/Clinical experts, Marketing, Sales Management, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, other AbbVie groups, and external vendor partners) and manages fiscal responsibility for multiple budgets. Ensures direct reportsโ€™ development, including customized onboarding plans. Provides training design/development support and leads initiative/program design efforts.

Key responsibilities:
- Represent the Field Training leadership team
- Build and lead a team of trainers to develop curriculum aligned to AbbVie Leadership Attributes and selling capabilities
- Apply artificial intelligence, adaptive learning, and experiential training approaches
- Measure and evaluate learning impact using data to update curriculum and inform future learning
- Influence line management to plan/design learning strategies supporting business objectives
- Drive excellence and accountability across self, direct reports, Field Training, commercial stakeholders, nurse ambassadors, and training participants
- Lead training strategy process (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) to improve US Sales Organization capabilities
- Coach/develop the franchise training team for current roles and future commercial leadership
- Collaborate with Senior Commercial Management and cross-functional partners to deliver effective commercial training

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required
- 8โ€“15 yearsโ€™ pharmaceutical/healthcare sales and sales management experience developing/leading sales teams
- Experience in Heme Onc and/or Multiple Myeloma strongly preferred
- Experience building launch training journeys/curriculum strongly preferred
- Technical degree preferred; business degree acceptable with relevant training and sales/experience
- Experience in commercial or medical training required
- Knowledge of instructional design systems or extensive training/curriculum design experience
- Strategic thinking and business planning skills
- Project management experience with cross-functional teams/external partners
