This role is field-based; candidates should live within the territory (Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida).

The FRM Associate Director leads and develops a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers who educate healthcare providers on AbbVie’s Immunology Patient Support Programs, emphasizing patient access and reimbursement inquiries related to AbbVie’s immunology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and support the FRM team to deliver compliant, effective access and reimbursement services.
- Conduct field ride-alongs to assess performance, ensure use of AbbVie-approved tools, and provide targeted coaching.
- Collaborate with Patient Services, Managed Health Care, Sales, and the Access & Reimbursement Hub to maintain consistent, compliant program execution.
- Integrate patient access programs into local/regional strategies; identify and address training opportunities.
- Monitor healthcare policy changes and communicate relevant insights to the team.
- Track call activity and operational capacity using analytics tools.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with AbbVie standards and procedures.
- Drive professional development, career progression, and performance oversight for direct reports.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in coverage/coding/managed healthcare and/or market access for immunology products (including payer account management and/or expertise in market access impact on patient access and reimbursement).
- 2+ years in a leadership role (3+ years preferred) with proven talent development.
- Advanced coaching skills; expertise in territory and strategic account management.
- Skilled in coaching/training and communicating complex reimbursement policies.
- Deep understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D reimbursement, specialty drug acquisition, and distribution.
- Proven ability to navigate regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks.
- Excellent oral/written/presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Ability to drive personal or company vehicle, or operate powered material handling equipment.
