Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) to educate HCPs on AbbVie Immunology Patient Support Programs, focusing on patient access and reimbursement inquiries.
- Manage, coach, and support FRMs to deliver compliant access and reimbursement services.
- Conduct field ride-alongs to assess performance, ensure use of AbbVie-approved tools, and provide targeted coaching.
- Collaborate with Patient Services, Managed Health Care, Sales, and the Access & Reimbursement Hub to ensure consistent, compliant program execution.
- Integrate patient access programs into local/regional strategies; identify and address training opportunities.
- Monitor healthcare policy changes and communicate insights.
- Track call activity and operational capacity using analytics tools.
- Implement quality control measures for compliance.
- Drive professional development, career progression, and performance oversight.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in coverage/coding/managed healthcare/market access for immunology biologics (payer account management preferred); or comprehensive market access expertise impacting patient access and reimbursement.
- 2+ years in a leadership role (3+ preferred) with proven talent development.
- Strong coaching; territory and strategic account management skills.
- Ability to coach/train and communicate complex reimbursement policies.
- Expertise in immunology biologics drug acquisition/dispensing (medical benefit, buy-and-bill, reimbursement analysis; Specialty Pharmacies/Distributors).
- Deep Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D reimbursement knowledge.
- Proven ability to navigate regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
- Ability to travel up to 75%; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
