Role Summary

Associate Director, Field Medical Marketing - LTC (East Region) is a field-based key member of the Medical Marketing team aligned to a specific specialty or function. Acts as the primary Marketing point of contact for field intelligence to shape and inform marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy
    • Partner in brand planning and strategic development across HCP, Patient, and Medical Marketing initiatives
    • Collaborate with Marketing leadership to convert field insights into data-driven program enhancements and optimize campaigns
    • Manage Advisory Board end-to-end including recruitment, facilitation, and reporting of insights
    • Ensure peer-to-peer programs meet educational needs by selecting speakers, coaching, coordinating events with agencies, and reporting insights
    • Conduct field-based market research to inform or validate brand strategy
  • Marketing Initiatives, Campaigns, and Investments
    • Manage marketing campaigns and programs from concept to execution, including agency relationships and promotional review processes
    • Serve as Marketing liaison to regional sales teams, educating on brand programs
  • KOL Engagement
    • Manage assigned HCP list, coordinate ongoing engagements, document insights, and collect feedback
    • Identify emerging KOLs using data sources and field insights
    • Provide detailed KOL engagement reports, synthesize insights, and share with Commercial Analytics
    • Develop and execute regional insight gathering
  • Medical Marketing
    • Lead strategic Medical Marketing initiatives through all project phases
    • Support Speaker Bureau activities including nomination, training, utilization, and coaching
    • Create content for peer-to-peer programs, product theaters, patient/caregiver programs, and promotional materials
    • Select and facilitate KOLs for product theaters and other engagements
  • Field Alignment
    • Collaborate with regional field teams to ensure consistent brand strategy implementation
    • Contribute to evolving playbooks/guidelines with leadership to optimize processes
  • Compliance
    • Work with Legal and Compliance to adhere to policies and requirements

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in marketing, business, health policy, scientific or related field; 10+ years of relevant pharma/biotech marketing and sales experience preferred, or Masterβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree with 8+ years of similar experience preferred
  • Strong communicator and diplomat with ability to combine scientific knowledge with communication skills
  • Understanding of legal, compliance, and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration across medical, legal, regulatory, advocacy, compliance, marketing, and communications
  • Strategic thinking, initiative, problem solving, and creativity applied to product positioning and messaging
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and prioritize effectively
  • Thought leadership and ability to solve complex problems and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Applied knowledge to support business objectives and mentor colleagues
