A Typical Day May Include
- Establish, foster, cultivate and maintain peer relationships with KOLs in Neurology
- Act as a primary clinical/scientific resource to HCPs for information pertaining to disease state and company products
- Identify and maintain a list of relevant medical/therapeutic area experts and investigators; develop engagement plans
- Support evidence generation research initiatives (company sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies)
- Identify and report medical insights
- Identify gaps in research and educational needs to inform medical strategy
- Respond to requests for information related to study indications, disease state and therapeutic area; present/discuss scientific and clinical data in a compliant manner
- Perform disease management and therapeutic area education with practitioners, payers and researchers
- Attend conferences to collect and report relevant scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence
- Ensure company policies, procedures, principles and financial controls are maintained with integrity and professionalism

Qualifications
- Clinical/science doctorate degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, DVM)
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including 4+ years working as a Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical industry

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Neurology MSL or in Neurology
- Established relationships with KOLs in neuromuscular centers
- Product launch experience

Required Skills/Knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data sets; ability to educate top KOLs as a scientific peer
- Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharma compliant practices, and OIG guidelines

Travel
- Frequent business travel (~70%), including air travel, overnight travel, and occasionally weekends
