Role Summary

The Associate Director of PMO leads cross-functional projects and initiatives with the highest resource requirements, risk, and complexity. Projects include new construction, interior renovation/adaptive reuse, infrastructure, site work, laboratories, vivarium, office, amenity, conferencing and public space programs.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively and coordinate with REGN leadership and overlapping functional areas to ensure comprehensive consideration of project team members and operational/logistical needs.
  • Monitor planning, programming, scoping, design and construction activities to ensure work proceeds in accordance with standards, contracts, schedule, and budget.
  • Establish and maintain a complex program/project budget, cash flow analyses, cost estimates, and review PO, change orders, and invoices with impact on company operations.
  • Evaluate, develop and select standards, tools, and knowledge requirements for Facilities Project Management; provide guidance and instruction to less-experienced team members.
  • Develop evaluations of existing conditions for potential new locations, including projected project costs and schedules for renovations to meet program needs.
  • Identify and resolve unique, significant situations requiring conceptual/innovative thinking to develop broad-impact solutions; proficient in advanced techniques, software, and project management standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
  • Licensed Registered Architect or Professional Engineer preferred
  • Fluency in negotiating leases, contracts and capital project management
  • Minimum 15 years in related field with similar scope of work
  • Experience with financial cash flow and accrual forecasting and reporting
  • AutoCAD, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional
