Responsibilities:
- Lead the epidemiology program for at least one asset/disease area, including proposing and negotiating program content and budget with matrix leaders; develop a Global Epidemiology Plan and may lead cross-functional teams.
- Provide expert epidemiological insights to asset matrix teams (e.g., Clinical Development, Safety Review, Medicine/Vaccine Development).
- Lead complex epidemiological studies and negotiate new partnerships with oversight from senior staff.
- Identify new vendors, tools, and data sources to deliver innovative epidemiology solutions.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives on epidemiology’s role at departmental, CMO, or R&D level.
- Represent the company in scientific interactions with governance bodies, external regulators, and international conferences.
- Plan scientific dissemination (regulatory documents, peer-reviewed publications, presentations).
- Partner with external groups conducting global epidemiological studies and manage external collaborations.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Epidemiology or other Quantitative Public Health discipline.
- 1+ years’ experience in pharma or equivalent academic/government experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD/ScD/DrPH) in Epidemiology/Public Health/Biostatistics or related.
- Demonstrated epidemiological expertise influencing internal/external stakeholders (e.g., regulators).
- Strong written/verbal/listening skills.
- Matrix experience delivering complex epidemiological studies with regulatory requirements.
- Ability to apply epidemiology methods/study design (e.g., post-approval studies).
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of external regulatory/scientific landscape around RWE.
