Associate Director, Epidemiology

Role: Associate Director, Epidemiology, providing epidemiological expertise to support drug development, safety, and regulatory decision-making within biopharma. Responsibilities: lead observational studies (cohort, registry, database), synthesize literature, estimate disease incidence/prevalence and risk factors, and contribute to pharmacovigilance and safety reports; collaborate cross-functionally for evidence generation. Requirements: PhD or ScD in Epidemiology, minimum 2 years’ pharma or CRO experience, proficiency in large database study design and literature review, team-oriented with strong interpretive skills. Preferred: experience in immune-mediated or neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s. High-Value: epidemiology of immune/neuro diseases, database studies, safety/regulatory support, management level. WorkSetup: hybrid in Cambridge, MA, with potential remote options for qualified U.S. residents.
