Role Summary
Associate Director, Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) Field Marketing. Lead HCP engagement strategy including peer-to-programming, congress presence, and advisory board creation and execution. Reports to the Director, Brand Strategy (GI Rare – EoE).
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and refine KOL/HCP engagement strategy, reporting insights to brand team and cross-functional partners.
- Create strategically-aligned congress tactics and ensure their successful execution.
- Own and execute congress activities including booth strategy/design, symposia content, KOL engagements and meetings, booth staffing.
- Ensure that booth staff is certified and has completed all compliance trainings.
- Deliver fit-for-purpose, impactful peer-to-peer education.
- Support the development of the annual brand business plan at a strategic and tactical level.
- Liaise with legal, regulatory, and compliance to ensure all activities are compliant with policies and regulations; manage internal reviews and approvals for marketing strategies and tactics.
- Manage external agencies and consultants/contractors to meet project objectives and ensure accountability to standards.
- Budget accountability for strategic and tactical execution; manage spending against budget/forecast and perform monthly reconciliations and reporting; identify trends to optimize spending and program performance.
- As a team leader, support the development of others and foster a positive culture with cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressively responsible marketing, sales or related experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry; minimum 3 years in marketing strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree; focus in Biology, Marketing, Strategy or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience developing engagement plans for thought leaders / KOL management and liaising with these customers.
- Experience leading congress strategy, training, content development and execution of national level conferences.
- Strong leadership with ability to set direction, generate commitment, resolve issues, evaluate risk, and influence without authority; capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects; strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Additional Requirements
- Travel: approximately 30-40% travel; potential for office travel to Cambridge, MA; willingness for overnight and some international travel as needed.
