What Youโ€™ll Do
- Define and govern GCM enterprise architecture standards across Commercial & Medical IT (principles, security, compliance, business strategy).
- Lead GCM architecture for strategic initiatives; shape early designs and guide key architectural decisions.
- Lead GCM integration and data architecture strategy using scalable, secure patterns (APIs, event-driven architecture, data-sharing models, enterprise data flows).
- Create multi-year enterprise architecture and business capability roadmaps for Commercial & Medical platforms.
- Simplify and rationalize the application portfolio (reduce overlap, improve integration quality, lower TCO, avoid fragmentation).
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies (cloud services, automation, data products, AI/ML, generative AI) with appropriate security/compliance controls.
- Partner with cross-functional IT teams (integration, data/analytics, security, infrastructure, delivery, platform).
- Mentor solution/platform architects and delivery teams; drive adoption of architecture best practices.
- Represent GCM in enterprise architecture forums.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (Computer Science/Engineering/IT) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years IT experience; 3โ€“5+ years architecture leadership (Enterprise/ Solution Architect).
- Strong enterprise + solution architecture experience in regulated industries (life sciences/pharma/healthcare).
- Experience with Commercial and/or Medical domains and regulatory/global considerations.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, data architecture, APIs, event-driven architecture, and secure interoperability.
- Ability to translate business priorities into target-state architecture and roadmaps.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- MS/MBA or equivalent.
- Experience with Commercial & Medical platforms (CRM, omnichannel, medical communications, customer data, analytics).
- Hands-on with Salesforce, Veeva, cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure), and integration tools.
- Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms/master data/data products/advanced analytics.
- Experience integrating AI/ML, generative AI, automation, or cloud capabilities in regulated environments.
- Agile delivery experience; SAFe a plus.
