Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related digital platforms (MCP, MCI, Data Cloud, MCE) to improve campaign effectiveness and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with business/marketing stakeholders to build roadmaps, refine requirements, and design scalable technical solutions.
- Partner with commercial teams, agencies, and website hosting providers for commercial website operations, deployments, performance optimization, and maintenance.
- Work with implementation/managed service partners on solution architecture, design, and deployment.
- Lead solution workshops, design walkthroughs, and UAT while ensuring pharmaceutical industry compliance.
- Stay current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud releases and implement enhancements to data model and platform architecture.
- Apply marketing automation, AI, and machine learning best practices to improve engagement and performance.
- Enhance reporting/analytics; communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate production deployments for new solutions, website enhancements, and integrations while minimizing disruption.
Factors for Success (Qualifications & Skills):
- Bachelorβs degree in related field.
- 12+ years marketing technology experience; 4+ years in biotech/pharma/life sciences.
- 5+ years hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (enterprise integrations); Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred.
- Proven omnichannel/customer engagement experience; Agile/Scrum experience.
- Deep expertise in Marketing Cloud Studios/Builders; Email Studio experience (A/B testing, segmentation, triggered sends, personalization, microsites/landing pages, wave execution).
- Data Cloud engagement support (ingestion, identity resolution, DMOs, segmentation, activation to Marketing Cloud).
- Experience integrating Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud with Veeva CRM and external platforms via APIs/middleware.
- Strong SQL and understanding of Marketing Cloud data/contact architecture; web/Cloud Pages/front-end troubleshooting plus (optional) SSJS automation.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, social analytics, and Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama); GenAI/ML is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and GDPR; excellent communication and cross-functional project/vendormanagement skills.
