Associate Director, Engineering Projects

Role: Associate Director of US R&D Operations leading capital project execution and operational strategy within a biotech/pharma research environment. Responsibilities: manage PMO and project controls for CAPEX programs, oversee design, procurement, construction, and commissioning; lead operational project planning, strategic prioritization, and governance; support long-term infrastructure and operational readiness; coordinate with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Lab Ops, EH&S, and external vendors. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s in engineering, life sciences, or related field; 7-9+ years in operations leadership, project management, and capital project delivery, preferably in multi-site biotech/pharma R&D; experience with lab design, facilities management, and regulatory compliance (building codes, safety).
